Mrs. Addison was born in Halifax County, Va. She had retired from Swift & Co.
after 42 years. She was the widow of James Albert Addison. She was a member of
First Baptist Church of Norfolk; a past matron of Virginia Chapter 22 of the
Order of Eastern Star; and assistant lecturer of District 31 of the Order of
Eastern Star.
Survivors include a sister, Dorothy C. Ransone of Norfolk.
The funeral will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. Saturday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral
Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, by the Rev. Richard Baker. Burial will be in
Forest Lawn Cemetery. Friends may jon the family from 7 to 8 p.m. today in the
funeral home and other times at 243 Sir Oliver Road.
Memorial donations may be made to the church.
