Mrs. Ella Studdard Adcock, 94 of Monroe, died June 3, 1981, in the Walton County Hospital following an extended illness.
Funeral services were held June 4 in Mt. Paron Primitive Baptist Church. Elder Julian Asbell, Elder Albert Moss and the Rev. Bob Howard officiated. Interment was in
the church cemetery.
Pallbearers were Nathan Little, Wayne Adcock, Allen
Johnson, Timothy Atha, Floyd Adcock, and Mike Richardson.
Mrs. Adcock was born August 23, 1886 in Walton County where she had lived all her life. She was the daughter of Gus Studdard and Mary Walker Studdard. She was the widow of James Homer Adcock and previously married to the late Newt Towns prior to his death. She was the oldest member of Mt. Paron Primitive Baptist Church until her death.
Surviving are her children: Mrs. Beulah Richardson, Mrs. Watson (Minelle) Richardson, Mrs. James (Lessie Queen) Hester, Mrs. Ozella A. Braswell, Mrs. Melvin (Ruby) Hester, Julius Adcock and Marshall Adcock, all of Monroe, and Mrs. Fay Mitchell of Atlanta; 21 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren.
