Euleta Jean Adcock, 82 of Enterprise passed away Saturday, January 30, 2016 at the Haskell County Nursing Center. She was born July 28, 1933 in Enterprise to Floyd Childers and Hettie (Barbie) Childers. She grew up in Sandridge, and received her education at Stigler. She married William Jasper Adcock on April 12, 1952 and made their home together in the Quinton and Enterprise area. She attended Sandridge Pentecostal Church before beginning to pastor Jesus Name Pentecostal Church with Jasper for many years. Her hobbies include singing, playing the guitar, going camping, going to garage sales, and shopping. She will always be known for her famous peanut brittle, and being a prayer warrior who was a kind, loving person who never raised her voice and was pleasant to everyone. She is preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Hettie Childers; two sisters, Marie Williams, Reatha Adcock; one brother, Sonny Childers. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at Jesus Name Pentecostal Church with Reverend Donnie Taylor, Reverend Lloyd Carr, and Larry Dalton officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Palestine Cemetery under the direction of King and Shearwood Funeral Home of Stigler.
