FATHER OF TIPTON RESIDENT DIES
Glen Adamson, 69, route 1, Carlos, Indiana, died Wednesday night in Randolph County Hospital. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday from the Carlos Christian Church with Rev. Burley Oren officiating and burial will be in the Buena Vista Cemetery, near Farmland. Friends may call at the Thomas Funeral Home in Lynn, Indiana from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Friday or for one hour prior to services at the church.
The deceased was the father of James Adamson of Tipton, and was a well known poultry farmer in that area of the state.
Other survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Edward Enghaus of near Carlos; Mrs. Carl Crowds, also near Carlos; Mrs. William Thornburg of Fountain City; Max Adamson of Centerville; the widow, Grace Adamson; 16 grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, one great-grandchild and one step-great-grandchld.
