William H. Adams, Jr., beloved father and grandfather, passed away Easter morning, April 11, 1993.
Born October 31, 1904 to William H. and Nellie Adams in Topeka, Kansas. Married Bernice Brown in 1927 in Murray, Utah.
Bill spent 55 years working as an auctioneer in Idaho and Utah. He loved to square dance with has wife and friends. He also spent many hours at his cabin at Fish Lake. He opened his first carpet store, Adams Carpet, in 1935. Bill also took pride in being a charter member at Willow Creek Country Club. He was a member of the Masonic Society; he had reached the level of a 32nd degree Mason.
Survived by two sons and one daughter, William H. (Spud) Adams; Connie (Bill) Johnson; and Robert (Punch) Adams. Preceded in death by his wife, one son, one daughter, and a granddaughter Candee Angel.
Graveside services will be held at 12 noon, Wednesday, April 14, 1993. Friends may call one hour prior to services at the Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State Street. Interment, Murray City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Shriner's Children Hospital.
