Former Juniata resident Dorothy R.(Adams) Bell, 79, died Tuesday. Sept.12, 1995, at Haven Home in Kenesaw.

Services are 11 a.m., Saturday at Hastings Baptist Church in Hastings with the Rev. Tim Reener officiating.

Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery at Hastings. Butler-Volland Funeral Home of Hastings is in charge of
arrangements.

Mrs Bell was born Feb. 23, l916, to Ernest and Carrie (Chance) Adams in Edgar where she grew up. She graduated from Edgar High School.
She attended college for one year and taught school before being married.
On Jan 1 1938, she married Robert E. Bell.
They lived in Oak before moving to Juniata. She was a homemaker. Her husband died Dec. 21, 1993.

She was a member of Juniata Community Church in Juniata where she was a Sunday school teacher.

Survivors are one son, Robert Bell of St. Helens, Ore.; two daughters, Sharon Jones of Hastings and Carla Weiler of Ayr; seven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by a brother, two grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Memorials may be given to the family.
