Dallas L. Adams, 52, Highway 121 North, Murray, died Sunday, May 11, 2003, at 1:04 a.m. at Murray-Calloway County Hospital.
A self-employed construction worker, he was a member of West Fork Baptist Church.
Born Dec. 25, 1950, in Calloway County, he was the son of the late Garnett Adams and Katie Morgan Adams. One grandson, Jonathan Garrett Adams, also preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Suzanne Gilbert Adams, to whom he was married May 30, 1971, in Mayfield; two daughters, Mrs. Amy Collins and husband Gene, Almo, and Ms. Jill Adams, Murray; one son, Dallas G. Adams, Kirksey; two grandchildren, Whitney Collins, Almo, and Savanna Lamb, Murray; one sister, Mrs. Phyllis Furgerson and husband, Junior, Murray.
The funeral will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of J. H. Churchill Funeral Home. The Rev. Sammy Cunningham and Bro. Richard Adams will officiate. Burial will follow in the West Fork Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 5 to 8 p.m. today (Monday).
