Archie Adams Sr Dies; Services to be Tuesday

Archie S Adams Sr, 62, of 2101 Curdes Ave, died at 3:30 pm yesterday in Parkview Memorial Hospital where he had been a patient two weeks.

Born in Grayling, Mich, he resided in Fort Wayne since 1931. He was sales manager for Sherriff-Goslin Roofing Co and a member of Calvary Temple.

Mr Adams was a member of Elks Lodge 155, Sol D Bayless Lodge 359, the Scottish Rite, Mizpah Temple and United Commercial Travelers.

Surviving are his wife, Hilda; two sons, Thomas W, Louisville, Ky and Archie S Jr, Fort Wayne; a daughter, Mrs Naoma Yaney, La Punete, Calif; a step-daughter, Mrs Lois Bullerman, Indianapolis; five brothers, Leonard, Grand Junction, Col, Thomas, Duluth, Minn, Willard, Flint, Mich, Donald, Huntington, and George, Kalamazoo, Mich; two sisters, Mrs Chris Jeffrey and Mrs Stanley Jess, both of Flint, Mich; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Friends may call at the DO McComb & SonsFuneral Home from 7 pm today until 10 am Tuesday when the body will be taken to the Calvary Temple, where friends may call from 11 am until 2 pm, the time of services. Rev Paul E Paino will officiate and burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
