MRS. ADAMS, 75, TAKEN BY DEATH
Former Elizabethtown Resident Dies Sunday at Nursing Home.
Mrs. Jessie M. Adams, 75, died at 7:30 o'clock Sunday evening at the Redmon Nursing home. She had lived in the Elizabethtown neighborhood most of her life.
Mrs. Adams was born Jan. 7, 1877, in Bartholomew county, the daughter of William C. and Elizabeth Tetrick Hilderbrant. Her husband, Joe G. Adams, preceded her in death Feb. 27, 1937.
She is survived by three stepdaughters, Mrs. G. A. Long of Greenfield; Mrs. Forrest Harris of Dayton, O.; and Mrs. Walter D. Wells of Houston, Tex.; and one step-son, Chester Adams of Greely, Colorado.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Hathaway funeral home. Rites will be conducted by the Rev. Harold Davis of Elizabethtown, and burial will be made at Springer cemetery.
The casket will be open this evening at the Hathaway funeral home until time of the services Tuesday.
