William W. "Bill" Adams, 60, lost his battle to cancer Friday, January 3, 2014, at his home in Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, Bill worked with the Hall's Restaurants for 46 years. He was a member of American Legion Post #499. Bill was an avid sports fan and loved watching I.U. Basketball. Bill was a very good with his hands and enjoyed fixing items in need. His main focus in life was being a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. Surviving are his loving wife of 34 years Tammy Adams of Fort Wayne, sons Shane Adams of Ligonier, Bryan (Cristina) Adams, Nicholas Adams, daughter Michelle Adams all of Fort Wayne, six wonderful grandchildren with the seventh on the way and brother Jack (Connie) Adams of Spencerville. Bill was preceded in death by parents John and Mary Adams. Service is 11:00 am, Wednesday, January 8, 2014, at D.O. McComb and Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road with calling one hour prior, Pastor Scott Davis officiating. Calling at the funeral home Tuesday, January 7, 2014, from 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm & 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm. Burial in Riverview Cemetery, Churubusco, Indiana. Memorials may be made to Visiting Nurse Hospice.
