HILLSBORO - Georgia E. Adams, 98, of Hillsboro died Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2003, at Hillsboro Area Hospital.

She was born May 19, 1905, in Olney, the daughter of George and Elizabeth Seiler Fiock. She married Lawrence R. Adams in 1926 in Chicago; he died in 1968.

Mrs. Adams graduated from Urbana High School in 1922 and from the University of Illinois in 1926, where she also earned a master's degree in 1933. She taught at Hillsboro High School for 22 years.

She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Hillsboro, Kappa Sigma Tau Sorority, Omicron Nu Honor Society, Study Club, Women's Club, Retired Teachers of Montgomery County and local card clubs.

Survivors: a son, Larry Adams of Lewis, Del.

Services: Hough and Sons Funeral Home, Hillsboro, the Rev. H. Matthew Ferguson officiating. Burial: Haven Hill Cemetery, Olney.
