Juanita J. Adams died Tuesday June 21, 2005 in Biloxi at the age of 83. She was a native of Prentiss, MS.
She was married to the belated civil engineer Isaac Adams. She was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church in Biloxi, where she was a dedicated church sister.
After 30 years of being an inspiring teacher in the Prentiss Institute and the New Jersey School system, she retired and continued to serve as a secretary for the benevolent service at the East Division Center in Biloxi.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Isaac Adams; 3 daughters, Faye Jackson, Kay Latimore, and Anita L. Adams; sisters and brothers.
She is survived by a son, Grady Jackson of Biloxi, MS; a nephew, Billy Ray Jackson of New Jersey, close friends, Audrey Robinson of Biloxi, MS; Calvin Barnes of Prentiss, MS and Henry Durr of Biloxi, MS; caretaker, Lovie McCray of Biloxi, MS.
A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 29, 2005 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at First Missionary Baptist Church in Biloxi. A Service will follow at 12 p.m. at First Missionary Baptist Church.
An interment will be at the Biloxi National Cemetery at 2 p.m.
