Her father was A. R. Adams and her mother, Mary (Gear) Adams.
She became a Christian early in life and joined the Free Methodist Church. In Washington she became a member of the Evangelical Church, later changing to the Harrington Free Methodist Church.
Minnie came to WA from Michigan, arriving at the town of Sprague, Lincoln County, WA on the 20 September 1884, and upon that date she was married to Stephen E Scott.
6 March 1891 Stephen took out a homestead claim of 160 acres in SE, Block 6, 23-N Township, 37E Range in Lincoln County, WA.
1900 they were enumerated in the United States Federal Census at Moscow, Lincoln County, WA where they had a farm. Stated they had 6 children and 6 children were living.
In 1915 they moved to the town of Harrington, WA.
Her funeral was held in the Harrington Congregational Church.
