Marguerite Ward Adams
Graveside services for longtime Antioch resident Marguerite Ward Adams will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Oak View Memorial Park Cemetery in Antioch.
She died Monday at Antioch Convalescent Hospital after a long illness. She was 82.
A native of Vancouver, B.C., Canada, she had lived in Antioch for 73 years. She was a homemaker who enjoyed crocheting, embroidery work and growing roses.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, George Dewey Adams of Antioch; two daughters, Patricia Lawrence of Antioch and Virginia Allan of Lodi; a son, Michael D. Adams of Cottage Grove, Ore.; a brother, William Ward of Antioch; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Contributions may be made to the Mt. Diablo Medical Pavilion, 2740 Grant St., Concord, 94520. Brentwood Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
