She was a retired homemaker and a resident of Houston. She was a member of Faith Memorial Baptist Church, a life member of Ladies Auxiliary VFW, and a forty-year member of the Ladies Auxiliary Fraternal Order of Eagles.
She is survived by a son, Tommie Wayne "Tom" (Sharon) Devine; two brothers, Franklin Seaborn (Elizabeth) Adams and James Hubbard "Chubby" (Melba) Adams; a sister, Floydie Mae "Tinker" Adams Frost; three granddaughters, Bonnie (Klaus) Stark, Pamela (Chris) Muscarello, and Susannah Devine; a grandson, William Stephen "Wil" Devine; two step-grandsons, Robert (Kathy) Thomas and Christopher Marlin (Cynthia "Cindy") Thomas; a great-granddaughter, Emily Autumn Muscarello; and three step-great-grandchildren, Robert Harold Thomas Jr, Ashley Nicole Thomas, and Aaron Nicholas Thomas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd Seaborn and Pauline Marie Deutsch Adams; her husband of forty-six years, William James Devine; a brother, Carl Harding Adams; and two sisters, Dean Estelle Adams Moore and Myrtle Marie Adams Woods.
