ROCKDALE — Services for Wilma Jean Jones, 89, Rockdale will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale with Ray Don McIntosh and Elder Gary Jackson officiating.
Burial will follow in I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
Mrs. Jones died Wednesday, Sept. 1, in a Rockdale assisted living center.
She was born on Dec. 24, 1920, to Alfred Wallace and Dot Ewing Adams in Fort Worth. On Jan. 1, 1941, she married Walter Clyde Jones in Caldwell. She was a homemaker and a partner of Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale. She had lived in Caldwell and Giddings before moving to Rockdale in 1957. She was a member of Murray Street Church of Christ in Rockdale and a former member of Young at Heart and Rockdale Senior Citizens. She was preceded in death by her husband on Jan. 8, 1982.
Survivors include two sons, Wallace Jones of Rockdale and Stephen Jones of Thorndale; four daughters, Sharon Wilkerson of Taylor, Barbara Manbeck of Carrollton, Clyde Charisse Golden of Prairie Village, Kan., and Gracile Lillard of Rockdale; a sister, Letajo Howard of Austin; 17 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
