John W. Adams, 72, of Fountain Hill, formerly of Allentown, died Saturday, July 5, 2008, in Cedarbrook Nursing Home, Fountain Hill. He was the wife of the late Diane M. (Heffner). Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late John and Elsie I. (Pumm) Adams. Ads was the bar manager for the Franklin Home Association. He was an Army veteran and earned the rank of Private First Class. Survivors: Son, Jamie L. Young and wife, Michelle D., Macungie; sister, Joanne Moyer, Nazareth; nieces, Melissa A. Roth, Robin L. Musike. Services: 10 a.m. Thursday, in Stephens Funeral Home Inc., 1335-37 W. Linden St., Allentown. Call 9 a.m. until service time. Interment will be in Grandview Cemetery.
