Graveside services for Myrtle Adams, 98, Lawrence, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Oak Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Ronald D. Mickley officiating.
Mrs. Adams died Wednesday, Oct. 16, 1991, at St. Francis Hospital, Wichita.
She was born Nov. 20, 1892, in Jefferson County, the daughter of Josiah and Martha Jane Godfrey Transue.
She attended the public schools in Jefferson County. She moved to Muncie in 1910 and returned to the Lawrence area in 1918. She worked at Lawrence Paper Co. as a production operator for more than 17 years. In 1988, she moved to Wichita.
She was a member of Clinton Parkway Assembly of God Church, the Kaw Valley EHU, Polly Painters, and Golden Age Group, all in Lawrence.
She was married to William H. Miller. He died in 1933. She later married George. E. Adams. He died in 1973.
Survivors include a son, Francis Eugene Miller, Wichita; a sister, Anna Transue, Lawrence; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
