David Benton Adams, 86, a former Lafayette resident, died November 20 in Blake Medical center in Bradenton, Florida. He was born November 24, 1914, in Dayton and graduated from Indiana University in 1944. Mr Adams married Mary Lucille Marshall on June 19, 1944. She survives. He was employed at Brown Rubber and Ross-Gear TRW. Mr Adams was a Lafayette resident until 1978, when he moved to Bradenton. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Bradenton and a charter member of Indiana University Varsity Club. Mr Adams is survived by his wife; two sons, Dave M Adams and his wife Sharon of Carmel and Robert B Adams of Fort Collins, Colorado; and three grandchildren, Stephanie L Adams of Fishers, Brian C Adams a student at Indiana University and Magdalena Adams of Fort Collins, Colorado. Soller-Baker Funeral Home handled arrangements with burial in Dayton Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
