Meriwether Flournoy Adams, Jr. of Decatur, died October 5, 1993 at Emory University Hospital. He was 81 years of age.
Born in Eatonton, Ga. on September 24, 1912, Mr. Adam was a retired Chief Engineer and assistant treasurer for the Protestant Radio and TV Center in Atlanta. He had also worked as an engineer for WAGA Radio in Atlanta. He was a member of the Decatur Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are his widow, Frances Martin Adams of The Home; two sisters, Ann Adams Rehbreg of Albany, Ga. and Katherine Adams of Eatonton; one brother, Edward Adams of Macon, Ga.; one son, Doug Adams of Rabun Gap, Ga., and two grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Friday, October 8, 1993 at 3 p.m. at Pine Grove Cemetery, Eatonton, Ga. The family will receive friends form 7 to 9 Thursday evening at A.S. Turner & Sons.
