Born August 8, 1937, in McSherrystown, she was a daughter of the late George H. and Bernice L. (Ruth) Adams.
Dot graduated from Gettysburg High School in 1955. She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Gettysburg.
She was a partner of her family's farm, the George Adams Dairy Farm, and was employed there her entire life.
In her free time, Dot enjoyed following the Baltimore Orioles. Her family and friends will remember her as a loving, kind person who was always laughing.
Surviving are three brothers, Richard W. Adams and wife, Patsy, Kenneth C. Adams and wife, Linda, and Philip "Eddie" Adams, all of Gettysburg; her sister, Shelby J. Bowser of Biglerville; five nieces, Barbara Rudisill, Sharon Martin, Karen Bowser, Carrie Soliday, and Kristine Minner; two nephews, Kenneth J. Adams and Michael C. Adams; nine greatnieces; two great-nephews; and one great-great-niece.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Mary G. Adams.
