Catherine Adams
Catherine Hughes Adams, 80, of Upper Sandusky, died Monday evening, Nov. 20, 2006, at Ruffing Family Care Center in Tiffin.
She was born Oct. 1, 1926, in Champaign Urbana, Ill., to Rayda and Florence (Lane) LaRoe. She married Robert I. Adams on June 11, 1945, in Gary, Ind. He preceded her in death in 1963.
Catherine is survived by her children, David (Kathy) Adams of Rome City, Ind.; Christine (Ed) Keezer of Chelsea, Mich.; Alene (Butch) Wise of Tiffin; brothers, Bob, Cecil, Jack, Art, Wayne, Lloyd and Gerald LaRoe, all of Michigan; sisters, Jenny Barnett, Betty Carnes, Evelyn Leigh, all of Michigan, and Rose Dudzik of Florida; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents; three sons, Glen, Robert and James; one brother, Everette; a granddaughter; and three great-grandsons.
Friends may visit 10-11 a.m. today, Nov. 22, 2006, at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin 44883, (419) 447-2424. A service will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Tom Goosens, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant View Cemetery, Sycamore.
