Mrs. Jos. Adams, P.V. Pioneer, Rites Tuesday
Mrs. Clara Elvira Adams, wife of Joseph Adams of Potter Valley, passed away Saturday, October 8, at Lakeport. She was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Spencer, one of the families of early settlers in Potter Valley where she was born, grew to womanhood, married and raised her family.
Funeral services from the Eversole Mortuary will be held Tuesday afternoon, October 11, at 2 o'clock. Rev. Leonard Brown, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Ukiah, will be the officiating minister and interment will be in the Potter Valley Cemetery.
Mrs. Adams in survived by her husband, Joseph Adams, her daughter, Mrs. Trilby Zortman of Alder Point, four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Her two sons preceded her in death. Mrs. Alta DeWitt of Hanford is her sister.
