Mrs. Bertha Lee Adams of Portageville, Route 1, died at the home of a sister in Portageville early Sunday morning March 6, after a long illness. Funeral services were held the following afternoon at the home and interment was in Portageville Cemetery, with LaForge Undertaking Company service.
Mrs. Adams was born January 16, 1904, in Tennessee, the daughter of G.J and Mary Wyatt and was aged 45 years, one month and 20 days. She and her husband returned to Portageville about two months ago from California, where they had spent the past year and she had been ill since returning home.
She is survived by her husband, Sibley Adams and four children, as well as a number of sisters and brothers.
