Mr. Adams died Thursday, Nov. 8, at Claiborne Manor Nursing Home following a long illness. He was a retired oilfield switcher and a Baptist.
He is survived by his wife, Eloise Green Adams of Homer; three sons, Fred B. Adams of Shreveport, Thomas A. Adams of Cairo, Ga., and James R. Adams of Tyler, Texas; a daughter, Debra A. Brewer of Rogers, Ark.; a sister; Estelle Blanning of Oakland, Fla.; two brothers, Louie Adams of Shamrock, Texas and Marvin Adams of Crowley; seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
