Mary Margaret Rainwater of Ward, Arkansas, age 77, passed away May 10, 2011 in Sherwood, Arkansas. She was born July 2, 1933 in Conroe, Texas to Lewis and Lillie Adams. Mary was a waitress for most of her life. She was a very passionate woman who loved her family, reading, and never knew a stranger. She is survived by three daughters, Connie Hall and husband Mitchell of Ward, Arkansas, Sheryl Rainwater of St. Petersburg, Florida and Kimberly Johnson and husband John of St. Petersburg, Florida; two brothers, Clarence Dettwieler of Oklahoma, George Davis and wife Gail of Cabot, Arkansas; six sister, Kathleen Higgs of Indiana, Christine Kerlin and husband Victor of Almond, Arkansas, Joanne Allen and husband Art of Searcy, Arkansas, Harriett Abbott of Searcy, Arkansas, Doll Robbins of Concord, Arkansas and Carol Lane and husband Art of Kansas, she is also survived by five grandchildren, Steve Rainwater of Beebe, Arkansas, Angie Smith and husband Tony of Ward, Arkansas, Jesse Johnson of St. Petersburg, Florida, Lindsay Johnson of St. Petersburg, Florida, Mikaella Rainwater-Moore of St. Petersburg, Florida; two great-granchildren, Sabrina Rainwater and Shawn Rainwater. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews, and many friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lewis and Lillie Hare Adams Rainey, four brothers; Bill Dettweiller, Bud Adams, Thomas Adams, Richard Adams, and one infant son Steven Peckinpaugh.
