Funeral services for Byrnie M. Adams, 71, of 1016 S. First St., Monroe, were at 10 a.m. today in the chapel of Mulhearn's Funeral Home of Monroe with the Rev. John H. Traylor officiating.
Burial was in Memorial Cemetery.
Miss Adams died Monday in St. Francis Medical Center after a lengthy illness.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Monroe, a native of Strong, Ark. and she had been a resident of Monroe for 25 years.
Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Kathryn A. Dever and Mrs. Ruth Phillips, both of Monroe and Mrs. Ruby Dyer, Pensacola, Fla.; a brother, Billy L. Adams, Monroe; nieces and nephews.
