Graveside services for Myrtis Loflin will be 3:30 p.m. April 25, 2004, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with brother Jerry Dean officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers in Pineville.

Mrs. Loflin, 97, of Pineville died Friday, April 23, 2004, at Pelgrim Manor North in Bossier City.

Mrs. Loflin was retired from the Louisiana Special Education Center. She was a member of Ball Baptist Church, where she was very active and taught Sunday school.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Neven Loflin; a son, James Donald Loflin; parents, James Allen Adams and Clara Mellissa Adams nee Wagner; three brothers, Winzell, T.J. and Valrus Adams; and two sisters, Marie Crenshaw and Beatrice Whatley.

Survivors include a daughter, Sharon Loflin Wisinger and her husband Dan, of Haughton; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 2:15 p.m. until 3:15 p.m. at the funeral home.
