Charles Adams, Jr., age 82, passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2015.
Mr. Adams was born on August 25, 1933 in Cordele, GA, son of the late Charles Adams, Sr. and Carolyne Rogers Adams.
Mr. Adams graduated from Auburn University and received two Bachelor's Degrees in Pre-Med and Chemistry. He was a devoted employee with Chemical Products for thirty-seven years and was serving as the President of the corporation when he retired. He was a lifetime Rotarian and in his free time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a true and faithful servant of the Lord and a proud and active member of Sam Jones United Methodist Church.
He is preceded in death by his sister, June Adams Johnson.
Survivors include his loving wife of sixty years, Joyce Adkins Adams; sons, Charles Adam, III (Darri) of Tampa, FL and Thomas Adams (Eydie) of Auburn, AL; grandchildren, Tess and Daisy Adams, Ivey and Carolyne Adams.
Graveside services will be held at two o'clock in the afternoon on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 in Sunny Side Cemetery, Cordele, GA with Lee Guerry officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorial contributions made to the Sam Jones United Methodist Church Building Fund.
