B. Frances Adams, 87, Topeka, Kan., formerly of Marceline, died Tuesday evening, Jan. 4, 2000, at the Topeka Convalescent Center. Burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Marceline. She was born Feb. 9, 1912, in Marceline, daughter of Frank Isaac and Beulah (Minor) Porter. She was a former member of Marceline United Methodist Church and lived in Topeka since 1980. She graduated from Marceline High School and was an elementary school teacher. Survivors include one son, Howard Adams, Topeka; three grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers: Thomas Harvey, Lucian Wilson, and Roy Nelson Porter.
