Blanche M. (Adams) Kostielney, 91, of Winfield Township, passed away peacefully Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2010, at Allegheny Valley Hospital, Harrison Township. She had lived most of her adult life in Detroit, Mich. Blanche was born Sept. 17, 1918, in Worthington, the daughter of the late Alva Alonzo and Clara Stella (Bowser) Adams. She was the widow of Stanley Kostielney, who passed in 1989. She was a member of the Worthington High School class of 1937. Blanche enjoyed sewing, doing crafts and music. She and a cousin are the last surviving members of their family's generation. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Albert, George, Frank and Carl (Mabel Bowser) Adams; and her sisters, Florence (John) Staron and Rose (Carl) Wright.
