PEORIA -- Charles Frederick Adams, 82, of Rural Route 1, Bluford, died at 5:05 a.m. Sunday, June 2, 1996, at Good Samaritan Regional Health Center, Mount Vernon. He was born June 1, 1914, in Peoria. He married Virginia Eyman. She survives. Also surviving are a stepson, Stephen Eyman of Joliet; several other children; one brother, Robert of Peoria; two sisters, Ann Lechnowicz of Chicago and May
Whitmore of Minnesota; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a retired Teamster. Graveside services were Wednesday at Springdale Cemetery. Osborn Funeral Home in Dix was in charge of arrangements.
