Hanna City – Sharon L. Adams, 70, of Hanna City, passed away at 9:42 a.m. Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
She was born Jan. 3, 1944 in Peoria to Clarence and Virginia (Ufford) Castle. They preceded her in death. She married Harold Adams in Peoria in 1962. He survives.
Also surviving are 4 children, Timothy (Elaine) Adams of Germantown Hills, Debra Adams of Peoria, Shelly (Jeffrey) Lashley of Peoria, Kimberly Schneider of Dunlap; 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren, 2 brothers, Clarence (Nancy) Castle, Roger Castle; and her sister, Susan (Clint) Wilson.
Sharon worked at National City Bank in Peoria before retiring in 1993.
She was a member of the Pentecostals of Peoria Church at 3510 W Malone in Peoria for over 40 years where Sharon’s Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 22, 2014 with Pastors James Lashley and Jeffrey Lashley officiating. Visitation will be from 12 to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Church. Burial will be at Parkview Cemetery in Peoria. Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria is in charge of arrangements.
