February 11, 1919 - November 29, 2010

Adalberto "Beto" C. Acuņa passed away on November 29, 2010 peacefully at his home, while asleep in his bed. Beto was born in Animas, New Mexico to Concepcion and Isabel Calvario Acuņa. Beto played baseball for 15 years then became a Constrution (laborer) with Arizona Laborers Union until he retired in 1980. He is survived by his sister, Aurelia Rivas from Phoenix and his children Adalberto P. Acuņa and his wife Melody Acuņa, Matrin Acuņa and his wife Rosa and Yvette Estrada. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Beto was greatly loved and will be very missed. Funeral services were held on Monday, December 6, 2010 at the Brown Page Mortuary Chapel. Burial followed at Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers who served were Chad Acosta, Miguel Rascon, Albert Acuņa and Jose Estrada. Brown-Page Mortuary was in charge of arrangements"
