|Birth: ||Feb. 24, 1906|
|Death: ||Aug. 5, 1925|
Daughter of William D. and Malvina Wheeldon Warren.
The death angel visited the Liberty neighborhood August 5th, 1925, and quietly took away the spirit of the much-loved wife of Oba Acton and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. D. Warren. She was born February 24, 1906, and was 19 years old.
She joined the Liberty Baptist Church at an early age and was faithful to the end. Della bore her suffering with much patience and never seemed to be worried, always looking on the bright side of life.
She was married to Oba Acton December 11, 1923, and after their marriage they lived in Detroit, Michigan, most of the time. She had been back from Detroit only a short time when she took sick and died at the home of her father and the body was laid to rest in the cemetery at Liberty. Bro. Dock Gooch, the pastor, preached the funeral.
Della had a sweet, quiet disposition and was a kind and loving wife. She will be greatly missed in the community by the relatives and friends, and especially missed in the home by the young husband.
The near relatives are her husband, father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. W. D. Warren, three sisters, Mrs. Delia Acton, Mrs. Dovie Payne and Doris, a younger sister.
We all extend our greatest sympathy to the bereaved ones.
