Born Aug. 24, 1930, in Memphis to Floyd and Clara Mae Scrivener, member of Lindenwood Christian Church, retired teacher, administrator for Memphis City Schools, member of Daughters of the American Revolution, Cub Scout Den Mother, Member of Band and Athletic Booster Clubs-Messick High School.

Preceded in death by son, Stuart F. Acree; and daughter, Claudia F. Acree. Survived by loving husband of 59 years, Nathan; sons, Hardwick Acree, Portland, Ore.; Jerry Acree, Lonoke, Ark.; grandchildren, Stuart Acree Jr; Jeff Acree (Kacy); Brett Acree (Cynthia); Krystle Acree; Beth Acree; Kevin Ungren; Jason Long (Heather); Matt Acree; great- grandchildren, Dalton Acree, Savannah Acree, Gavin Acree; sisters, Clara Mae Burblies, Zephyrhills, Fla., and Charlotte Taylor (Norris), Seabrook, Texas.

Visitation was held from 9-11 a.m. Friday, July 20, with funeral services following at 11 a.m., both Forest Hill Funeral Home, Midtown. Donations may be sent to Lindenwood Christian Church Building Fund. Arrangements, Forest Hill Funeral Home, Midtown.
