Ms. Tina was first married to Mr. Charles Hodge and they had one daughter, Mattie Hodge, who married Mr. Lane Hicks. After Mr. Hodge's death, Tina married William Wesley Acree who had lost his wife, Lizzie Carter Acree. William Wesley and Lizzie had one son, Andon Acree, so he and Ms. Tina started their life together with a ready made family. Mr. Acree preceded Ms. Tina in death in 1953. Ms. Tina died in a Monroe, LA hospital after a long illness. Ms. Tina's service was held at Providence Baptist Church, Point, LA with the Rev. Billy Carter officiating. Pallbearers were James Acree, Weldon Acree, Ollie Carter, Buster Taylor, Hardy Antley and Truett Carter. Ms. Tina's daughter, Mrs. Mae Acree Ouchley, followed her mother in death just four days later on August 19, 1962.
