FLORENCE — Beth Acosta, 72, of Florence died on April 20, 2011.

The memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Victory Tabernacle, 339 S. Lindsay Road in Gilbert.

Ms. Acosta was born on Oct. 10, 1938 in Paris, Texas, and was a daughter of Columbus and Annie Jones.

She was an accountant and worked for the Arizona Department of Corrections for 18 years. She enjoyed cooking and was devoted to her family. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and attending family gatherings.

Survivors include three sons, Fernando Acosta, of Tucson, Carlos Acosta, of Queen Creek and Tony Acosta, of Coolidge; a daughter, Kristi Acosta, of Trenton, Tenn.; a brother, Donny Jones, of Chandler; four sisters, Anne Curtis, of Briggsville, Pa., Jean Rhine, of San Antonio, Texas, Ethel Thomas and Barbara Carden, of Marysville, Calif.; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
