He is survived by two brothers, Don Acord and Elbridge Acord, both of Yale; and three sisters, Frankie Jo
Gregory of Springdale, Frances Edens of Fayetteville, and Freda O'Donnell of Seaside, Calif.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 3, at the Yale Community Church with Rev. Amos Pledger
officiating. Burial was in Yale Cemetery under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Newel1 Stepp, Dwight Stepp, Art Stepp, Billy Ray Acord, Glenn Acord, and Billy Gregory.
