BEVERLY ANN ACOCK, 57, beloved wife and cherished mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend passed away on February 18, 2008 in Corpus Christi, Texas. Those left to cherish her precious memory are her husband Randolph Acock; her parents Lee and D. W. "Mac" McDonald; her daughter and son-in-law Kristin and David Thrasher; her daughter Laine Scott; her son Tyler Scott; her step-daughter Kristen Marie Acock; her step-sons and their wives Skylar and Laura Acock and their daughter Mason Acock and Matthew and Kelle Acock; her step-son Joe Acock; her sister and brother-in-law Glenda and Larry Smith; her niece, husband and children Teri, Rodney, Hayden and Dylan Howerton; her nephew Jason Smith; and countless cousins and friends. Beverly was born on April 2, 1950 in Fort Worth, Texas. She grew up in Houston and attended The University of Texas at Austin. For the past four years, she has worked at Champions School of Real Estate as the Statewide Marketing Representative. In addition to her work, she spent many hours volunteering her time with the Make-A-Wish Foundation and the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo School Art Committee. She was an active member of Second Baptist Church. During her free time, she also enjoyed artistic pursuits including drawing and painting, spending time on the lake, relaxing at her parents' place in the country, traveling, and most importantly any time spent with her family and friends. It is often said that someone is one in a million. Beverly simply was the "one." There has never been another like Beverly, and there will never be another. The level of warmth and love that was vested in every action or even glance from Beverly was the equivalent of a glance from the Angel that she has become. Beverly was a Christian who not only touched but impacted the lives of everyone that she met. By family and friends, Beverly will be missed immensely but never forgotten for even a single second. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 21st from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Forest Park Funeral Home in The Woodlands, Texas with funeral services to be held at 11:00 a.m. the following day, February 22nd in the Chapel at Second Baptist Church (Woodway) in Houston, Texas. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Beverly's memory to the Make-A-Wish Foundation: 1604 Bissonnet; Houston, Texas 77005.

If someone that didn't know Beverly attended her funeral, they would certainly come away wishing they HAD known her!
She was my cousin and had a beautiful funeral and burial!
