Ada I. Acock, 71, of Kansas City, died Tuesday, June 28, 1988 at the Truman Medical Center in Kansas City. She was born Aug. 27, 1916 in Kansas City to John and Hattie Simpson Cross. She lived in the Kansas City area most of her life.
Mrs. Acock is survived by four sisters, Mary Dalton of Versailles, Phyllis Sartin of Springfield, Florence Phillips of sugar Creek, and Ollie Mae Irvin of Kansas City; and three brothers, John Cross and Bill Cross, both of Sugar Creek, and Richard Cross of Independence.
Funeral services will take place at 2 p.m. Friday at the Phillips Funeral Home in Eldon. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today (Thursday) at the Phillips Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Eldon City Cemetery.
