Mrs. Kate Ackerman, 82, of Route 4, West Port Arthur road, died today at 6 a.m. in the county tuberculosis hospital. She had been a resident of Beaumont for 59 years. Funeral services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. in the L.M. Williams and Sons funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Magnolia cemetery with the Rev. Bob Willis, pastor of the First Assembly of God church, officiating. Mrs. Ackerman is survived by two sons, Ray Ackerman of Beaumont, and F.H. Ackerman of Elkhart, Ind.
