Mrs. Peacock was born in Madison County on July 29, 1882, and with the exception of a few years in Des Moines had lived all her life in Madison County. She was the former Etta Acheson, daughter of Samuel and Elizabeth Acheson.
About 1908 she was married to Buren Locke. They were the parents of one son, Raymond.
In 1915, her second marriage occurred, to Ed Peacock, who survives her.
In addition to her husband, she leaves the son, Corp. Raymond Locke of the U.S. army, and several nieces and nephews.
