Marjorie A. Achilles of Loraine died on Monday (July 16, 2012) in the North Adams Home in Mendon.
Marjorie was born on March 10, 1929 in Quincy to the late Willis "Buzzie" and Ora Reed Achelpohl.
She married Kenneth E. Starman who died on Oct. 25, 1967.
She later married George Achilles and he died on Nov. 26, 2001.
She was retired from the Unit 4 School District and was a member of the Amvets Post 76 Auxillary.
Surviving are three children, Linda Niekamp and her husband David, Marsha Kendrick and her husband, Rick, Kenneth Starman Jr. and his wife, Jeanne; four stepchildren, Cherie Shaffer and her friend, Don, Steve Achilles and his wife, Stacy, Brenda DiMichele and her husband, Dave Gledhill, Chris Goodwin and her friend, Jonathan; nine grandchildren, Brian Niekamp and his wife, Bobbette, Brent Niekamp, Brandon and his wife, Jamie, Heath Kendrick, Jared Kendrick, Tara Kendrick, Kenneth Starman III and his wife, Nikki, Kyle Starman and his fiancé, Ashley Taber, and Kristyn Starman; 15 stepgrandchildren, Cathy Shaffer and her friend, Randy, Dean Shaffer and his wife, Carrie, Denise Sowder and her husband, John, Casey Lee and her husband, Scott, Carol Shaffer, Dan Shaffer and his wife, Emily, Brandee Achilles, Greg Achilles, Erin Achilles, Billie Allen, Justin Allen, Danielle DiMichele, Tyler DiMichele, Rob Goodwin, and Leanna Goodwin, 23 great-grandchildren; one sister, Trudy Aselman and her husband, Ed; two brothers, Roger Achelpohl and his wife, Nan, and Crayton Achelpohl and his wife, Jan; and several nieces and nephews.
