Antonina Absher passed away on October 11, 2008 at the age of 86. A native of San Francisco, she was a long time resident of Santa Rosa and member of the Solid Rock Assembly of God in Windsor. Prior to moving to Santa Rosa she was an administrative assistant and buyer for Stanford University for 29 years. She is preceded in death by her husband, James S. Absher. Nina is survived by her sons, Steven B. Absher of San Lucas, Guatemala and James D. Absher (Ellen) of Moreno Valley, CA and two grandchildren, Jason Lagan of Berlin, Germany and David B. Absher of Greenville, NC. She is also survived by her brothers, Stephen Cannata of San Francisco and Harry R. Cannata (Daphne "Dee") of Santa Rosa. Nina has many friends in the community and shared her love and kindness through her church and community service. She loved the Lord and will be greatly missed.
