Mrs. Abram was born August 9, 1935 in Shawnee , daughter of the late William and Glenna White Owen.
She was a lifelong resident of the area and retired from Higbee.
Mrs. Abram is survived by three sons, Dan (Anita) Abram of Shawnee ; Jerry (Star) of Crooksville and Bryan Abram of Corning; two daughters, Cindy (Les) Henry of Shawnee and Amy (Lance Williams) Moore of New Lexington; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; brother George (Sandy) Owen of Shawnee ; sister Betty (Bill) Hamler of Mt. Sterling; two sisters-in-law, Shirley Owen of Shawnee and Edna White of Moxahala.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Abram, who passed away in 1992; her son, Robert "Bob" Abram, who passed away in 2006; two brothers, Gerald White and Fred Owen; and sister, Freda King.
Calling hours were held from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, August 7, 2008 at Roberts Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington.
A funeral service was held at 11 a.m., Friday, August 8 at the funeral home with Reverend Kenneth Teter officiating. Burial was in New Lexington Cemetery.
