Ragna M. AbrahamsonJul 04 1910 - Mar 12 2006 Ragna Abrahamson was born July 4, 1910, in Spink, SD, to parents Ole and Anna (Eide) Abrahamson. She died March 12, 2006, at Bethesda of Beresford at the age of 95 years, 8 months, and 8 days.Never married. Ragna was baptized and confirmed in the Brule Creek Lutheran Church in rural Elk Piont, SD. She was educated at Pleasant Hill school and later attended Lee Beauty School in Minneapolis, MN. Ragna lived in Chicago for several years prior to moving to Santa Monica, Calif. It was there that Ragna worked at Douglas Aircraft. She later worked for the Paper Mate Pen Company until her retirement. Ragna moved to Sioux City, IA prior to moving to Beresford, SD where she has lived since. Preceding her in death were her parents; three sisters, Bertha Green, Agnes Peterson and Oline Abrahamson, an infant; and five brothers, Arthur, Martin, Adolph, Olaf and Oscar Abrahamson. Survivors include her 10 nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
