Aaron Abner Jr., 76, husband of Irma Walton Abner, formerly of Irvine, died Wednesday in Richmond after a long illness. He was a native of Jackson County, a son of the late Arron Abner Sr., and Annie Powell Abner. He was a retired civil service worker at the Army Depot in Madison County. He was a member of Border Lodge #672, A.F. and A.M. of Texarkana, Texas. He was preceded in death by an infant son, Michael.
Survivors include his wife, Irma Walton Abner; a son, Anthony Abner, three daughters, Debra Finlayson, Letrisia(Randy) Turner, and Vicky(Don) Densmore; three sisters, Mebel Willis, Betty Reed, and Jane Farthing; four grandsons; four granddaughters; a great-granddaughter; and many nieces and nephews.
Services at Lewis Funeral Home, with Rev. Ray McIntosh officiating. Burial at the Red Hill Cemetery.
