Barbara Ellen, age 56, of Champlin, went home to be with the Lord Monday, May 22, 2006 at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids after a courageous 6-year battle with cancer. Barbara was born in Terre Haute, IN, April 1, 1950, the daughter of Dr. John H. & Janet L. Fossum. She married Jeffery Lynn Ably on March 20, 1982 at Christ Lutheran Church in Marshfield, WI. She is survived by her husband, Jeffery of Champlin; her father, Dr. John H. Fossum of Champlin; 2 daughters, Janeen M. Sedok (& special friend Chad) of Ellsworth, MN, Melisa J. (Donald) Boeck of Oelwein, IA; 2 sons, Jeffery T. McNuss (& special friend Vanessa) of White Bear Lake, Mark N. McNuss (& special friend Tricia); 6 grandchilden, Michael Watts, Ashley Sedoka, Amber Walkowaik, Robert Walkowaik, Alexander Boeck, Ryan Boeck; 3 sisters, Janet (Oliver) Boyington of Clarion, IA, Bette (Michael) Winterrowd of Odessa, TX, Patricia (Gene) Riesgraf of Aitkin, MN; 1 brother, John H. Jr. (Diane) Fossum of Clinton, UT and many nieces & nephews. Barbara was preceded in death by her mother, Janet L. Fossum; 1 brother, Jay M. Fossum and 1 son, Michael J. McNuss. Special thanks goes out to the family of Tim & Kathy Geldernick of Chili, WI, and members of the Grace Baptist Church of Marshfield, WI for the support and prayers throughout Barb's illness.
