Miquelita (Chavez) Abeyta, 84, a resident of Alameda, New Mexico, passed away in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on May 28, 1972. She was born on February 24, 1888, in San Acacia, New Mexico, the daughter of Manuelita C. (Aragon) and Flavio Chavez.
She is survived by four daughters: Julia and Priscilla Abeyta, both of Alameda, NM; Josefina Velasquez of Tome, NM, and Candelaria Guthrie of El Cajon, CA; and two sons, Monico Abeyta of Alameda, NM, and Vicente Abeyta of Glendale, AZ; 23 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren; and three brothers, Flavio Chavez of Las Cruces, NM, Vicente Chavez and Elfego Chavez both of Albuquerque, NM.
